Hey there, Teacher Friends! :) Thank you for stopping by my blog! I am a relatively new blogger, but I am really excited to jump feet first into the amazing world of blogging! :) I have taught 2nd grade for 10 years, and this is my first year teaching 4th. I am job sharing this school year. That means I am lucky enough to work part-time and spend 2 1/2 days working for Emma at home teaching her tons of new and exciting things! :) The other 2 1/2 days a week I work at school teaching 4th graders! I have absolutely adored each and every day I was able to spend with Emma this year. Next year I will return to teaching 2nd grade. Although I will miss Emma dearly, I know she is in safe hands with my very own mom and my father in law!
I am the luckiest girl in the whole wide world to have such a loving husband, amazing daughter and amazing parents and in-laws. I love my life!
Our daughter is one of those little girls who lights up a room, grocery store or park! She waves hello and good-bye to anyone/anything around while saying, "Hello Man!" or "Hello Plane!" She gets so excited to grab someone's attention! It truly melts my heart as we walk through any store! :)
Her vocabulary is so strong, and she amazes us every single day. Often I will spin my head around to make sure it was the little girl who just said that simple or complex sentence. She truly is a sponge!! My favorite "Emma" sentence is, "Will I like that?" as she points to new foods with this inquisitive look on her face!!! :) Precious.
The loves of my life!!
Building towers with Legos, reading, playing outside, talking a mile a minute and sorting things by colors are just some of Emma's favorite things!!
I truly am happy.
