  1. I enjoyed reading your post. I am a new blogger too. This was my 2nd time linking up with Farley. I'm looking forward to reading more about your new position! That's great that you can work for 2 1/2 days a week. I don't think our district does that! I hope you have a great school year!

    1. Thank you! You too! I enjoyed reading your blog as well! :) I am happy to know there are new bloggers out there because I am walking into this ocean that is too large to comprehend sometimes. :) Have a great school year also! :)

  2. Hey there! I've never had Capanarri's Ice Cream, but I know right where it is. We got our wedding cake from Continental Bakery which is right over there, I think. We must be kind of close by. Are you going to any of the blogger meetups happening soon - the one tomorrow or the one in October?

    1. We got our wedding cake from Continental Bakery, too! :) Yes, Capannari's is so good! Every year Caps hosts a Coolest School Contest where celebrity scoopers (teachers of the local school districts) get to actually scoop the ice cream and students come to get ice cream from their teachers. Amazing ice cream shop, but also amazing community presence! :)
I actually am new to this whole thing and did not even know there are really blogger meetings! How do you find the dates? I cannot attend this weekend, but would love to in October!

  3. Found your blog on the currently link up. I love the title because I need to remind myself that we should be smiling everyday while teaching!! Sometimes it's easy to get caught up in all of it, you know? That's crazy you only go back two days before the kids...we go back two WEEKS before! Wish I had your schedule!

    1. I totally agree that we need to remind ourselves to keep smiling while we teach because we do LOVE what we do! However, sometimes the load of EVERYTHING else around us gets in the way. :)
You go back two weeks before the kids?!?! I actually wish I had your schedule because then I would get paid for setting up my room, right?!!? Or, do you guys have PD those two weeks before?!?! If so, that is crazy!!
